I have been hopelessly stumbling through as many leather items I could possibly acquire.  Sure, I get lots of looks for people questioning whether I was dripping with sweat from the humidity and the face that I am wearing second skin.  But, I find something appealing about wearing this sexy fabric.  Currently trying to get my hands on a pair of skinny leather pants, like tight but not really.

我无可救药地走遍整个城市找皮革的东西.  当然, 很多人用疑问的眼神看我, 疑惑我是因为湿度流汗还是有第二层皮肤.  可是, 我察觉到穿这性感质料的吸引力.  现在正试图找一双贴身皮裤子, 贴身但不过于贴身.

Was persuing through my laptop trying to delete photos so I can install the new itunes... SO, I can install new applications on my i-touch.  I am so NOT tech savvy, this process comprised of me staring that the screen and asking the closest person next to me, "Is this what it should be doing?"

Hence, I stumbled onto these photos, a little project I did a couple months back involving several photoshoots! Was super fun and loads of work.  I was the one directing and styling the shoot.

BUT, the main reason I wanted to share was because I have the editorial shots on a disc but the ones in my lap-top were the candid ones, ie... the ones where I don't look normal. 

Pay attention....

I mean.. you can't blame me, I was standing in Central district on a Sunday morning where the streets were blanketed with staring people... Anyways, want to do a late thank you to the wonderful Willie and Hei who helped coordinate the whole thing..

Heel Candies- One for you, One for me!

Hmmmm... lots of you have asked me about my shoes and I was brainstorming smart ways to fit it all in one photo.  The ideas ranged from bringing it to a showroom and do like a guerilla shooting or dumping it in one bucket and let you distinguish what's what yourself.  But then, I realised that I had boots, flats, oxfords and sneaker-heels.  So.... I decided to show you my recent favorites of heels.  :)

I am somewhat a bit embarassed to say that this photo is a a descriptive picture of what is my current obsession: Wedges.  Aside from one pair of BCBG Girls heels, the rest are wedges.....!!! They are the great invention made to mankind.  Especially for someone like me who spends a lot of my day on my feet, these are a god send.  H&M shoes are a cheap indulgence for crazy shoes I would wear once and not wear again.  Recently though, they have been on point about everything comfortable and pretty!

Guess what's in my hands!! The fall/winter copy of COUTURE Magazine.  It's the latest and most up to date guide and review of this season's trends, lines and fashion shows.  It's been a good 3 months of hard work to launch it off and make it look as good as it does now.  It's sold internationally and it's going for a mere USD$8.  Please pick one up and support me!

When I first saw my copy, I was thinking, "Wow... this looks good." Opened it up and thought, "OMG... it looks really good." Felt better today with my new Christopher Kane bag, it's so odd.  I don't care if everyone has it on their chest, I have mine on a limited edition bag! :)

Been a rough couple days.  Finishing my mid-term, trying to brainstorm season ideas for Karmaloop, working on a couple side projects, planning for Japan, writing editorials and dealing with personal dramas.  I am super drained! but seeing the final product of the magazine proves to be somehow that everything will be worth while.  :)

My secret photographer and I had some cookies and pastries from Marks & Spencers in Central.  It's the first MS bakery to open in Hong Kong and I must say that it' the best there is here.  The cookies are the size of my face. There is this magnificent suger coating on this absolutely divine cinninamon twist that we had.

Stranded Glory

Ballet. Hmmm... I have always wanted to be a ballerina when I was young.  I am half convinced that the reason I am so not girly is because of the lack of girly expression when I was younger.  Hence, when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at a chance to do ballet. 

And I did, at 9 am this morning. 

It was so painful!! I feel like I am older and unable to do anything remomtely flexible.  My legs feel like jelly.  But despite all, it's living proof that beautiful things take hard work!

I always thought that the world comes to an end when I don't get what I want... but it turns out that good things.. happen to good people.

Frolicking in a garden

It's a pretty down to earth post today! Feeling in an excessively chill mood! I love the sun and the ways it makes my mood feels.  Went to school today to check out how things are going and my secret friend took me to a mysterious park where we frolicked with the seagulls and conversed with the bees.  Corny, I know. But, nonetheless, a refreshing break from the craze and overdosage of fashion week. 

This pose is Irene's idea.  It's like a 6 inch wide platform raises off the floor by 2 feet.  I was motified because I was wearing my Mambrinis and I didn't want to scratch them when I tumble down the terrifying heights of lush hills. That was some scary moments in my life. :)

I love this faux plastic glasses thing. It's like the ultra 'i' to the 'high'.  I love it to death. Would wear it everyday but I don't want to work it into excessive obsession.  :)

Heavenly gifts from Milan: Francesca Mambrini

My box semi-opened. I couldn't wait to take a photo. Had to open. Argh.

So... It's here. I nearly knocked over the DHL guy when I saw the package on the floor behind him. He was like, "miss (push him away), can you sign this sheet? (me looking at him like he is an alien)." "Uhhh... yes?" Chiara Cattaneo from Francesca Mambrini sent me some shoes for the season. I love Chiara! I love Francesca Mambrini! I plan a voyage to Milan in December to do some look inspirations, so will pay you a visit!



I nearly lost my breathe when I saw the first two pairs. A nice little bootie with a very admirable heel and a super cute bronze button. Then, there is the red satin evening shoe with the trademark Francesca Mambrini butterfly. Absolutely adorable. Chiara usually only sends me two pairs, so imagine my sup rise when there was a second layer?!



The second layer is everything I cam wish for... it's sky-high, towering, metallic and looks fierce but feminine at the same them. Look for yourself. Would not waste your time with frivolous words. I love all of them but I am struggling with which I love more, the beige gold sling backs or the black silver pumps. I think I love the pumps.



After my gut-wrecking, shoe-epiphany, went out to grab a bite with my new shoes. Could barely eat with all the Mambrini love flowing through me! love it. Ordered spicy chicken and Hawaiian pizza!



My favorite thing at this cafe is this frothy cream chocolate milk. It's basically just chocolate milk with tons of creams and milky goodness piled on top. I love it because who makes chocolate milk so pretty? Yum... mmmm.

Headed to work after lunch, I felt like I was walking on air in my new shoes. Awesome. I could never have afforded these shoes and having them is like a dream. When I walked into the office, the girls were like "Oooo.... " And I was like, "Yes...", fist pump. I wore the black ones because I loved how strong looking they were. I felt like I could do 17 things are one time.



Better yet, the skirt was a really cheap random find, it's was like 5 dollars or something. It puffy, soft and absolutely dreamy. I love the way it sits.

Charity Dinner: Giggling at Agnes b.

Went to school today knowing I had a test about mind-numbing, panic-attack inducing, seemingly quantum mathematics. Who needs math honestly? When I grow up... (music.:) ) I promise myself that if I would purchase anything required the aid of the calculator, I promise I would not buy it. I have equipped myself with simple addition, subtraction and multiplication. Guaranteed the only math I am going to in my WHOLE life. So, these photos were taken on school grounds. Usually, I have my in-house photographer from work take them but I was curious to how my good friend, Irene, would do. And let me say! WOW. These were good picture for a beginner, don't you agree? She took loads, so I uploaded loads... Sorry there is so many Valeries....

This is me trying to study for my mathness on the floor with my vitaminwater! :) Honest truth? I got nothing completed.

Was invited to Agnes b. Le Pain Grille "Give Love" Charity Night, a night where a local group of hospitals worked in collaboration to raise funds to help people in need. How it works it that every time you order an item under that charity menu, all proceeds go to them!

How cool is that? To be fashionablely aware. I love that kind of thing. As an editor, fashion with a heart is so important to me.

The food galore took place at their very own Agnes b. restaurant in the center of the city. It was a very cosy and warm event with no big gimmick, which I really like. Just lots of mingling and eating food. Didn't take much photos because was too busy stuffing my face. Mmmm... loved the savory crepe. Could eat those forever.

I seriously need to go on a diet.
