VENOM

Loving the rainy days.
Means allowing myself to dress in sandals, shorts and everything associated with chilled-out weather.

Stopped by the Vicious Venom space today and saw Kelly who was a sweetheart and accessorized me at RAFW.
Lovely space with lots of spiky-chainy things which makes me want to go a little more hardcore than I should.
This crochet top I am wearing has that rusty pea green quality to it which makes me want to prance in the prairie fields.
From the same store in Taiwan, found this lace dress which slightly resembles my grandma's curtain but managed to magnetize me to this flowly mass of girly fabric.  Still trying to figure out how to wear it...
It's been a long couple days with work dropping like rain from the sky: a steady and consistent flow of work and work.
I need to re-focus.

MOMENTS.
WAITING FOR THOSE TINY INDICATIONS TO PULL YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.//

At work, one of my biggest jobs is to formulate a strategy to make the my clients feel like they are 'in the moment'.  That moment of 'everything feels perfect' or without them knowing... giving them exactly what they want.  Yet, in order to do that, my team and I have to identify the elements designed to take your breathe away.

That's right. I said it, those beautiful moments are 'engineered, intentional and run to precision'.
I believe in moments where things just SEEM right and even without you realizing, it's the moment where everything makes sense.
So, what happened to all those beautiful moments?

First day in Sydney before mayhem begins tomorrow was surprisingly relaxed and nice.
Started with wandering around the streets for coffee, a franctic rush for Giorgio Armani foundation because I left it in Hong Kong (!), watching cute little kids drink hot chocolate while reading my favourite aussie magazines and wandering down to the Circular Quay to get my photographer certified.  Someone told me the weather forecast predicted rainy days but caught beautiful sunrays along Sydney Harbor.

I think lots of people flinch when I talk about Australian fashion but there is a certain charm to the whole industry.  In Hong Kong, we know Cotton On to be the most recognized Australian brand due it's first store opening strategically located in party central Lang Kwai Fong.  But.... I made an effort to spend the whole afternoon exploring similar top street fashion stores.

Then, it dawned on me.
No country embodies their lifestyle better than Australian Fashion.
Laid-back, comfortable yet stylish at the same time... making it very approachable for daily wear.
MY CUP OF TEA...
