It was my birthday yesterday and it was a good day.
Very chilled out and unexpected.  I had a lovely lunch and a beautiful dinner.
As you grow older, things get so confusing... it's a little bit puzzling.

Working on a third section of the Converse photoshoot and was perfect, my sort of dream photoshoot with the rain, upbeat team-effort and lots of  "oh.. that actually looks good."  Barring the Resident Evil-ish dress designed by a friend (Line to be launched later in the year) which looks a bit more revealing than usual.  In between photos in an effort to look half decent not scare the residents of Hong Kong, I threw on a sweater. But on second thoughts, there is so much cloth on it, it feels like a long-sleeved/mid-thigh/t-shirt dress with strategic holes placed in it.  The rain was hammering down in a very steady pitter-patter of water drops hitting the concrete jungle- making me feel very much at home in Seattle. 

I love the dreary rain.

正在准备Converse第三部分的摄影而且是完美的, 算是我梦想中在雨中的摄影, 乐观的团队力量和很多"噢.. 那看起来很好."  穿着那条朋友设计的有一点点Resident Evil味道的裙子 (那个系列的衣服将于年底推出) 看起来比平日更有透视感.  在拍照期间试图把外表农得半体面而不是吓倒香港的居民, 我穿上了外套. 可是再想一下, 裙子是用很多布料造成, 感觉是一条长袖/长至大腿的一半/有洞的汗衫裙子.  雨滴下来水泥森林的时候很有节奏- 让我仿似处于西雅图家里.

Feeling fat

Wearing: Zara shirt and pants, Balenciaga tote, Aldo Shoes, Cotton On sunnies 

Know those days where you have a sleepless night and you wake up feeling fat, bloated and lacking in beauty? Well, woke up this morning feeling like that.  Still, had to go to a nice dinner in a nice place.  So, I had to dress nicely.  This is me trying my best to dress nicely on a fat dress.

你知道那种感觉吗，那种一夜未眠早上起来觉得自己很胖，臃肿和对自己的外表缺乏信心的感觉。我今天起来的时候就有这种感觉。不过，还是要去一个满高级的地方吃晚饭。所以，我还是要好好装扮一下。这是已经尽了全力去穿一件松身裙子的我。

My trusty fat-covering, flowly, cottonly top and these harem-ish trousers which I am absolutely in love with because it makes me look tidy while I am looking sloppy.  :) My number one rule for looking good is... have a pretty face and anything goes.  Then, throw on some nice heels and BAM. Million bucks.

Eh, I look like 99 bucks. Oh well.

我可靠的松身，可以把身上的脂肪遮盖住的棉质上衣和这条有一点点伊斯兰教色彩的裤子。这是我现在非常爱的裤子，因为无论我打扮得有多拉塔，它都可以让我看起来很整齐。：）我的外形守则第一条是。。。拥有一张漂亮的脸穿什么都可以。然后，穿上一双漂亮的高跟鞋。看起来像过百万那么高贵。

呃，我看起来像99元。算了，没关系。

Going Neutral

Wearing: Elly dress, Balenciaga Tote, Project Eyewear glasses, Vivienne Tam platform heels

Like most people, I tend to gravitate towards darker colors like black, black and sometimes black.  Recently though, I have been trying to experiment with different color combinations, tending to step towards the ligter side.  I find that greys, plum-beige and brown tinted colors work well with almost everyone.  Hence, today's dress... short, floaty and girly.

To keep it from becoming as ungirly as possible, I always throw on chunky jewelry.  A recent favorite is this chunky silver necklace my friend sourced for me.  It's really heavy and carries a bit of weight to it but I think the robotic like qualities makes the outfit less Quaint Mary?

This pair of sunnies are the best every.  I like the fact that it comes in a rather odd color, allowing me to mingle with the vegetation and also the fact that it covers HALF my face.  Best of all, super light-weight.  My friend, Alfred designs these himself and I suggest checking out his store for one-of-a-kind frames.  I never worry about wearing the same one as the girl standing next to me on the train....
