Wearing: Zara gloves, Alaia wedges, F21 turban

By all measures, I am wearing everything considered unattractive to the opposite sex.  These are only things considered cool by the educated fashion crowd.  Turban? Tweed? Full-length gloves? Two words, perhaps? Turn-off? Still, I could not resist the chance that I had a once in a lifetime opportunity and wear a turban and still be relatively normal.  Though it's not colorful or silkly like the ones strutting down the spring runway, I think this is an appropriate twist of the Prada trend?


If you have noticed, I rarely- if not, NEVER dress this girly.  I did it today because someone said to be this morning, "Women will never be equal to men." My reaction went something along the lines of .... *silence*.... *silence*.  Despite all the "logical" and "social" reasons for that kind of reasoning, I could not entertain that kind of conversation.  Hence, the power-dressing, Coco Chanel, 'I-can-take-charge-attitude'.





Been pretty sleepless and tired recently. 
Could anyone figure out why?!

Hazy from missing you

Wearing: Anna Sui chiffon top, AA leggings, Azzedine Alaia heels

I would say that for the past couple months, it's been tough on me... but I like it.  I enjoy the feeling of selflessly missing someone.  I have a feeling of zero expectation and at the same time, filled with endless expectations.  It is something I can depend it. 

I have developed a ritual to help me deal with my emotions.  To some, it may seem unfulfilling but for me, it's enough to tide me over to the next day.  I am aware that things aren't perfect and can't be for many reason.  Yet, it's a confirmation of love that keeps me happy and here. 

I will never complain about what I don't have, rather I will chose to appreciate what I do have and keep on being happy and in the moment.  I believe that you can't plan the future especially when it comes to two interactions between people. 

There are special moments that keep me positive of what's too come.

#1:Giuseppe Zanotti Wedges

My new Giuseppe Zanotti Wedges. They are exceptionally high, like 6 1/2 inches, makes me feel like I am I am walking on butter. Has a nice shimmery gold to the wood on the bottom.  Unbelieveable...

#2: Azzedine Alaia pumps

Alright, see that pair of gold-colored, pointed toe, alien-invasion Azzedine Alaia pumps? I have it in black!! But I chose this photo because it  shows the most impressive thing about Alaia shoes... the shoe boxes! See those boxes used to display the shoes? Those are the boxes! made from leather and have a belt-like strap to keep the lid in place, I am never throwing this box out.  Might use it to keep my family jewels...

Hmmm.... I feel happy.... :)
